No matter what brand of power tool you use you need to make sure you have at least one spare battery and a spare 18v charger is handy. You will find that once you have the extra battery charger you will wonder how you ever worked without it.

The best advice I can give is to buy a spare battery and charger for your power tools before you think you need them because in my experience they go wrong on the night before Christmas when you are putting your childrens toys together.

if you can find a deal where you get 2 batteries and one charger then all the better! As far as brand loyalty goes, buy the batteries which are made by your company but just about any charger should be ok.

So if you use Dewalt then you want to use Dewalt power tool batteries.
